01Definitions

Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

• "Synaptide", "we", "us", "our" — refers to Synaptide, an online AI development school operating from 83/15 Thonglor Soi 13, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand.
• "Site" — refers to the Synaptide website accessible at synaptide.pro.
• "Service" — refers to the online courses, learning materials, mentor feedback, and community access made available through our platform.
• "User", "you", "your" — refers to any person who accesses the Site or enrolls in a course.
• "Course" — refers to any individual learning programme offered by Synaptide, including recorded lessons, written notes, mentor interactions, and community participation.
• "Content" — refers to all text, code, media, graphics, and other materials published or made available through our Service.
• "Agreement" — refers to these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

02Acceptance of Terms

By visiting the Site or registering for a course, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.
• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
• You agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Site or enrol in our courses.

03Service Description

Synaptide provides online education in software and artificial-intelligence development. Our current course offering consists of:

• Intro to Python & AI — an 8-week beginner programme covering Python programming fundamentals and introductory AI concepts through practical projects.
• Practical Machine Learning — a 12-week intermediate programme focused on building and evaluating machine-learning models with open-source tools.
• AI Engineering & Deployment — a 16-week advanced programme covering data pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and real-world AI application deployment.

Course content is delivered online through recorded lessons, written notes, and community spaces. Availability of individual courses may vary. We do not offer in-person instruction. Geographic access to courses is subject to applicable laws and our platform capabilities.

04User Accounts

To access course materials, you will be required to create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others.
• Notify us promptly if you become aware of unauthorised access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts where we have reason to believe that account credentials have been compromised or that the account is being misused.

05User Responsibilities

When using our Service, you agree to conduct yourself in a manner that is respectful and lawful. You must not:

• Share, redistribute, or resell course content without our written permission.
• Use course materials to train competing commercial AI models or educational products.
• Post content in community spaces that is offensive, misleading, or harmful to other participants.
• Attempt to access systems, accounts, or data beyond what is provided to you.
• Impersonate Synaptide staff or other users.
• Upload malicious code, scripts, or files to any part of the platform.
• Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful under Thai law or international regulations.

We aim to maintain a supportive environment for all learners. Users who consistently disrupt the community may have their access suspended at our discretion.

06Intellectual Property

All content on the Site and within courses — including lesson recordings, written notes, code examples, assessments, and design elements — is the intellectual property of Synaptide or its content contributors, and is protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property law.

Upon enrolment, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the course materials for your own learning. This licence does not permit you to:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute course content in any form.
• Publish or publicly display course materials.
• Create derivative works based on our content without written consent.
• Use our name, logo, or branding in any way that implies endorsement.

Work that you produce as part of your course — such as portfolio projects and capstone submissions — remains your own. By submitting work within community spaces, you grant us a limited right to reference your work for educational illustration with your name, unless you request otherwise.

07Payment Terms

Course fees are displayed on the Site in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Current pricing:

• Intro to Python & AI — ฿3,600
• Practical Machine Learning — ฿16,000
• AI Engineering & Deployment — ฿30,000

We accept payment by the methods listed at checkout. Payment is required in full before course access is granted unless a specific payment arrangement has been agreed in writing.

Refund policy: You may request a full refund within seven (7) days of enrolment, provided you have not accessed more than 20% of the course content. After this period, or if a significant portion of content has been accessed, refunds are not available. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected].

08Course-Specific Terms

The following conditions apply to all Synaptide courses:

• Enrolment: Access begins within one business day of confirmed payment.
• Duration and access: Course content is available for the stated duration plus a reasonable access extension to accommodate different paces of study. We will communicate any changes to access windows by email.
• Completion records: A completion record is issued for the Intro to Python & AI course upon completing the designated learning milestones. This record is for portfolio use and does not constitute an academic qualification.
• Mentor feedback: Mentor availability is subject to scheduling and is intended to supplement your independent study. Response times are typically within two to three business days.
• Community participation: Engagement with community features is encouraged but not required for course completion. Community access is subject to the conduct standards described in Section 5.
• Academic integrity: Submitting work produced by others as your own undermines your learning and may result in removal from the course without refund.
• Course updates: We may update lesson content, tools, or reading materials to reflect developments in the field. Material changes that significantly alter the scope of a course will be communicated to enrolled participants.

09Disclaimers

Our Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime and content quality, but we do not warrant that:

• The Site will be free from errors or interruptions at all times.
• Course content will meet every learner's individual expectations.
• Completing a course will lead to any particular employment, professional, or financial outcome.

Learning outcomes depend on individual effort, prior knowledge, and circumstances outside our control. Our courses describe what learners will work on and build — they do not carry promises about results, career progression, or skill timelines.

Nothing on this Site constitutes professional advice of any kind — legal, financial, or otherwise. If you require professional guidance, please consult a qualified practitioner.

10Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Synaptide and its staff, contractors, and content contributors shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service.
• Loss of data, loss of opportunity, or loss of revenue.
• Interruptions to the Service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including technical failures or force majeure events.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded under Thai consumer protection law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the course giving rise to the claim.

11Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Synaptide, its staff, and its content contributors from and against any claims, damages, penalties, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your breach of these Terms and Conditions.
• Your use of the Service in a way that causes harm to a third party.
• Content you submit to community spaces that infringes a third party's rights.

12Termination

By you: You may withdraw from a course at any time. Refund eligibility is governed by Section 7. Withdrawing from a course does not automatically delete your account.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, if payment disputes remain unresolved, or if continued access creates legal or operational risk. Where possible, we will give reasonable notice before terminating access.

Effect of termination: Upon termination, your licence to access course materials ends. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination.

13Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or our Service shall first be addressed through good-faith informal discussion — please contact us at [email protected] and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter within 30 days.

If informal resolution is not achieved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bangkok, Thailand. Where mediation is agreed by both parties as an alternative, the mediation shall be conducted in the English language in Bangkok.

14General Provisions

• Entire agreement: These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Synaptide with respect to the Service.
• Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
• Waiver: Failure by Synaptide to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it in future.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without our written consent. We may transfer our obligations to a successor entity, provided that your rights under these terms are not diminished.
• Notices: Formal notices to Synaptide should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to the address below. We will communicate with you using the email address on your account.

15Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For changes that materially affect enrolled participants, we will send a notification to the email address on your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Continued use of the Site or your course after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you should stop using the Service and contact us to discuss your options.
